On Show is a creative office working across architecture, scenografy , identity, and workshops. Born from the desire to unite these disciplines into something greater than the sum of their parts. The aim is to creates durable and aesthetically sensitive environments that celebrate the unique identity of every guest, space, product, or artwork. Each project grows from close and joyful collaboration with clients, craftsmen, and users, bringing stories to life.

Color, detail, and material sensitivity are central to the practice. The studio embraces a multi-disciplinary approach that honors the context of each project and the people involved. With a solution-oriented mindset, challenges are approached with creativity, pragmatism and fun, ensuring thoughtful and effective outcomes.

An important consideration in the process is the afterlife of the work, where objects and materials end up, and how they continue to impact their surroundings long after the project is complete. 

On Show is founded by architect Sarah van der Giesen whose journey spans the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Universität der Künste in Berlin and graduating with a Master of Architecture at the Delft University of Technology. Sarah worked at ZUS and Atelier Front, all the while pursuing independent projects.
